From 1983 until 1992 John Trudell produced a stunning series of records that are brought together in The Collection.

The 6 CD set, The Collection, contains Trudell material previously only available on cassette.

This is the first time these recordings have been available on CD!

This is the original recording and release of John Trudell's 1983 album Tribal Voice. Produced by Jackson Browne and accompanied by Quiltman, Trudell's debut album expresses the power and insight of the activist through spoken word performance over traditional music.

This album was originally released only on cassette and a limited run of CD's was produced from the original master tapes in 2003. This CD is from that production run.

This is the original recording and release of John Trudell's 1986 album aka Grafitti Man.

THIS IS NOT THE JACKSON BROWNE PRODUCED REMAKE ON RYKO DISK

Co-produced and co-written by Jesse Ed Davis, this album was originally released only on cassette and is the record that Bob Dylan called 'Best Album of the Year,' in Rolling Stone.

This original collaboration with Jesse Ed Davis was responsible for focusing worldwide attention on Trudell's talent as a spoken word artist and poet.

Recorded in 1987 John Trudell and Jesse Ed Davis combine spoken word over contemporary rock music, all performed with Native sensibilities, to create a composition that delivers at a deeply emotional level. Featuring Joy Harjo, Bonnie Bramlett and Darryl Hannah this album, which was produced by Davis and Rick Eckstein,was originally released as a cassette only.

Child's Voice - Children Of Earth by John Trudell

In 1992 John Trudell joined his lyrics with the music of Mark Shark and Quiltman and the vocals of his young daughters to create a truly unique album, Child's Voice. The song Children Of Earth, from this CD, is currently used by the French Ministry of Education as a part of their home education language program to teach English to French speaking children.
